As your local MP, I’ve met so many young people across Bancroft who are full of energy, ideas, and a strong sense of what’s fair and what’s possible. That’s why I started the Bancroft Youth Advisory Council – to give young people the opportunity to get involved, be heard, and make a real difference in our local community.

If you're aged 16 to 25 and live, work or study in North Lakes, Mango Hill, Deception Bay, Rothwell or Burpengary East, I’d love you to join the Council.

This is your chance to:

• Have your say on local issues that affect you and your generation
• Meet other young people who are passionate about community
• Work alongside me and my team to help shape future policies and initiatives
• Build leadership skills and gain real-world experience in civic engagement

You don’t need any prior experience – just a willingness to speak up, work with others, and help create a better future for everyone in our area.

We talk about everything from mental health to climate change, public transport, education, cost-of-living and more. Your perspective helps inform the work I take to Parliament and ensures young voices are part of the decision-making process.
